We are SO PUMPED! Join us at Flamingo Drive, Thursday 10-08-26 at 630pm as we have the honor to host Maria Pato, and get the skinny on Portuguese wine from Bairrada!
When Maria Pato [pictured left], Luis Pato’s [pictured right] youngest daughter, returned to the family winery, she also wanted to experiment and find her own style — pushing the boundaries of low alcohol, minimal intervention wine making. The result is “Duckman” an evocation of her namesake grandfather, João Pato, often portrayed as a giant paper mache duck on her labels. The wines themselves are a reinterpretation of what winemaking can be, ascribing to no tradition: pet nat sparklers arriving un-disgorged, red wines made from white grapes, orange wines made from red grapes, etc…. The goal is not to be a “natural” version of a classic expression, but rather to be endlessly experimental, surprising, and delicious. Chef Paul will be preparing courses to match a selection of Pato family wines, with a welcome glass to start the evening!

Join us at the bar on Tuesday, 10-20-26 at 6pm as we taste through some amazing wines from the Pacific North West!! Division is headed up by co-owners and co-winemakers Kate Norris and Thomas Monroe — after cutting their teeth in Beaujolais, they took the lessons learned in restrained winemaking and community as a sense of terroir to Oregon with their first vintage in 2010. Across their line, Kate and Tom personally oversee all ferments, with fruit from throughout Willamette Valley, their own vineyards in Yamhill Carlton, and various exceptional sites throughout Oregon and Washington. Chef Paul will be preparing some amazing local seasonal fare to match!
